Abstract: In This paper we explore the impact of performing preventive maintenance (PM) on time on tourists’ satisfaction with hotel services. By analyzing existing literature on service quality and customer satisfaction and loyalty, we highlight how timely PM can enhance hotel facilities, improve service reliability, and ultimately boost tourist satisfaction. The study emphasizes the importance of maintaining high-quality services in the hospitality industry, particularly in the context of medical tourism, where comfort and reliability are paramount. The quantity and quality of maintenance are directly related to guest satisfaction and the overall quality of hotels. Finally, we examine several examples to illustrate the effects of PM programs on guest satisfaction. In this study, we analyze the effects of PM on guest satisfaction using a conceptual mode.

Abstract: Workplace alienation is described as a state of being in which the employee is demotivated and disinterested in their individualized role and responsibilities at their place of work. The psychological feeling of alienation or separation from their employer and colleagues, and having very little or no passion at all towards their work. This kind of occupational scenario is observed as an implication of certain employer-based actions toward the employee. These actions may comprise being unable to recognize the drive and successes, criticizing the output and the employee, lack of empathy towards the employee, and other issues. This study focuses on understanding the Work Alienation (WA) of Engineers and Managers; and also analyses the influence of sociodemographic features on the OSE among the employee groups. The study was conducted in a major manufacturing Public Sector Unit, located in Mysore. The stratified random sample consisted of up to a hundred and twenty samples selected as per inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data was collected using the WA tool, along with a demographic data sheet. The data was analyzed using statistical tools like Regression analysis, Two-way ANOVA, and Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results of the study are Engineers and Managers did not differ significantly in their WA scores; the interaction effect between occupation type and different income, age, and years of work experience, are nonsignificant which shows that WA is similar in employees irrespective of the occupation they have. Abstract: Lean Six Sigma 4.0 (LSS 4.0) represents a transformative evolution of Lean Six Sigma, integrating Industry 4.0 technologies to drive smart manufacturing excellence. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twins, and Big Data Analytics, LSS 4.0 enables realtime decision-making, predictive intelligence, and autonomous process optimization, enhancing efficiency, agility, and resilience in modern industrial environments. This paper introduces a conceptual framework for LSS 4.0, redefining the DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control) methodology through IoT-driven process monitoring, AI-powered predictive analytics, and digital twin simulations. This transformation shifts manufacturing from reactive control to predictive and autonomous optimization, reducing variability, defects, and waste while maximizing productivity, resource efficiency, and sustainability. By leveraging data-driven decision-making, intelligent automation, and predictive maintenance, the framework enhances process reliability, prevents defects, and improves operational performance. Despite its advantages, LSS 4.0 presents challenges, including technological complexity, workforce upskilling, and organizational resistance. This study underscores the critical role of leadership-driven digital transformation, AI-augmented decision-making, and targeted skill development in fostering an innovation-driven manufacturing culture. Additionally, blockchain for secure supply chain traceability, augmented reality (AR) for enhanced humanmachine collaboration, and edge computing for decentralized intelligence are explored as key enablers of LSS 4.0’s full potential. Leadership commitment, cross-functional collaboration, and AI-driven Lean workflows are identified as essential success factors. Aligning digital transformation strategies with Lean principles and fostering a culture of continuous innovation is crucial for realizing LSS 4.0’s full benefits. Finally, this study highlights future research directions, emphasizing Industry 5.0 advancements such as human-centric automation, collaborative robotics, and sustainable smart manufacturing—key drivers in building adaptive, intelligent, and resilient industrial ecosystems.

Abstract: The individuals, belonging to all age groups, occupations, communities and socio-economic backgrounds are required to acknowledge the meaning and significance of socialization. From the stage of early childhood, the individuals need to realize that beyond their homes also there is a world, with which they are required to communicate with. Hence, within personal and professional lives of the individuals, they need to encourage socialization. This needs to be reinforced with family and community members. In order to carry out this task, one needs to be well-informed in terms of communication ethics, i.e. making use of polite language and decent words; treating others with respect and courtesy; making provision of factual information; reinforcing the traits of efficiency, honesty and truthfulness; depicting the traits of helpfulness and co-operation and possessing an approachable nature and an amiable attitude. As a consequence of acknowledging and implementing all these factors, one will render an important contribution in reinforcing socialization. One of the important aspects that needs to be taken into account is, one needs to reinforce a constructive approach. Furthermore, one will have to form cordial and amiable terms and relationships with each other. This is essential in encouraging socialization within and outside the homes. Therefore, it is well-understood, encouraging socialization is essential in leading to up-gradation of personality traits. The main concepts that are taken into account in this research paper are, understanding the meaning and significance of encouraging socialization, measures to be put into operation in encouraging socialization and advantages of encouraging socialization.

Abstract: Within all types of organizations, human resource managers are vested with the authority and responsibility of putting into operation all the factors, which are facilitating in upgradation of human resources. They guide and lead the human resources in the right direction. Furthermore, assistance is provided to them in leading to up-gradation of their competencies, abilities and aptitude. These need to be utilized in an effective manner in doing well in one’s job duties and achieving desired goals and objectives. One of the important aspects that needs to be taken into account is, progression is facilitated, when human resource managers and human resources are developing mutual understanding with each other. Furthermore, one will be able to render an important contribution in meeting the expectations of individuals in leadership positions. The human resource managers throughout their jobs need to be well-informed in terms of their job duties and responsibilities. Furthermore, they need to augment information in terms of various types of methodologies and procedures to generate desired outcomes. In addition, inculcation of traits of morality, ethics, diligence and conscientiousness are facilitating in leading to progression. Therefore, it is wellunderstood, roles of human resource managers are indispensable in leading to progression of human resources and organizations. The main concepts that are taken into account in this research paper are, objectives of human resource managers, understanding roles of human resource managers, and measures to be implemented in leading to up-gradation of roles by human resource managers.
